The commissioning of the new LICORNE prototype for the SPACE ALTO beam line took place on the morning of Friday, January 30. The new gas injection system for the target worked as expected; it was possible to reach 1.6 atmospheres in just a few minutes using the automatic ramp. For this commissioning, a continuous 7Li beam was produced and accelerated up to 15 MeV. At the source, the current was increased to 1 µA. The measured flux was comparable to the performance already achieved with the first LICORNE prototype.
